It’s that time of the year!
The sea village of Porto Ercole dedicates 7 days in honor of its patron saint, Sant’Erasmo, from 26 May to 2 June 2015.
A different program is featured every day, alternating cultural, musical, sports and gastronomic events until the celebrations culminate on June 2nd with a solemn religious procession and an exciting fireworks display.

The whole community of Porto Ercole participates in this important traditional event, and many visitors reach the small town to witness the characteristic and striking sea procession and the palio (regatta) disputed among the four local neighborhoods.
During the procession, the saint’s relics arrive ashore on a boat that – like other vessels in the harbor – is decorated with lights creating a magical atmosphere!
