Canadian blogger, art historian and arts marketing consultant Alexandra Korey has written about her travel experience in and around Monte Argentario, an area in the Maremma Tuscany that she had the chance to explore just recently.
Among her recommendations are visiting the beach and cycling through the Feniglia Reserve, admiring Forte Stella and the port towns, playing golf at Argentario Golf Club, wine tasting at Le Mortelle Winery, and exploring local archaeological sites.
Read her article, titled “Off-season Argentario”, on her blog http://www.arttrav.com, which has been recommended by Lonely Planet “Florence & Tuscany” guide (2012, 2014) as one of five recommended internet resources about Florence, and was shortlisted as one of the best Art & Culture blogs by Italy Magazine 2013.
