Argentario Resort, Movie Set For Oscar Winner Paolo Sorrentino

Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort was one of the movie sets of “Loro”, the latest movie by Oscar and Golden Globe winner Paolo Sorrentino.

Different parts of the movie were filmed in September-October 2017 in various areas of the Tuscan resort, including the hall, the golf course and the wellness center.

“Loro” is a biographical drama movie by Italian film director and screenwriter Paolo Sorrentino with actors Toni Servillo, Elena Sofia Ricci, Riccardo Scamarcio and Fabrizio Bentivoglio. It comes after the international successes of “La grande bellezza”, “Youth”, “This must be the place” and “The young Pope”.

The movie is divided in 2 parts: Loro 1 was distributed in Italian cinemas from 24 April 2018, while Loro 2 from 10 May 2018.
