The design Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort in Maremma Tuscany has partnered up with the world-famous, 5-star spa & golf hotel in Scotland, Gleneagles.
Thanks to this reciprocity agreement, the members of both Gleneagles and Argentario golf clubs can book green fees and hotel stays at convenient rates when they wish to visit the partner destination.
Gleneagles, which has hosted the 40th Ryder Cup in 2014, has had a ‘golf link’ to Maremma Tuscany for the past few years: in fact, the Head Pro at Argentario Golf Club is Emanuele ‘Peppo’ Canonica, winner of the 2005 Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles!

The Scottish golf excellence does not need much of a presentation: With three championship golf courses, Scotland’s PGA National Golf Academy, and a member of Great Golf Resorts of the World, golf is at the heart of Gleneagles. The oldest of the courses – the King’s Course – opened back in 1919!

The Tuscan golf club is much more recent: it was inaugurated in 2006 but quickly became an important golf destination for Italian and foreign golfers. It has hosted important golf tournaments like the 2008 Ladies Italian Open. Visit Argentario Website.
